Welcome to our site, filled with unique information about Faeries, Mother Earth changes, King Arthur, Merlin, Celtic spirituality and other topics. Much of the\u00a0information and Celtic wisdom found here originates from a Celtic people who live today as they have lived for thousands of years, in a land known as Tir na n\u00d3g, the original Garden of Eden.<\/p>\n
They are known by many names — Brownies, Dryads, Dwarves, Elves, Fae, Faeries, Fair Family, Fair Folk, Fairies, Fay, Gentry, Gnomes, Good Folk, Good People, Hidden Folk, Hobbits, Leprechauns, Little People, Nymphs, People of the Mound, People of Peace, Pixies, Pookas, Shining Ones, Sidhe, Sprites, Tsalagi, Tuatha D\u00e9 Danann, Tylwyth Teg, Wee Folk, and Yunwi Tsundi.<\/p>\n

We are a husband and wife (David and Carol) who have been married since 1987. Our experiences with the faerie folk began in 1997 in the town of Cary, near Raleigh, North Carolina. David was watching TV when two gnomes stepped in front of the television set and introduced themselves. At first he thought it was just his imagination, but after repeated visits from these gnomes, followed by other gnomes, elves, sprites, and many more members of the faerie tribes, he finally began to accept that they were more than his imagination.<\/p>\n
David has\u00a0second sight, so he often sees and hears with his spirit senses, and he eventually told Carol about his experiences. She\u00a0wanted to learn more, so David began to act as a faerie translator, repeating to Carol what was being told to him by the fair folk.<\/p>\n
A few years later, we determined it was time to leave the lowlands and move to the North Carolina mountains near Asheville, where we continue to interact on a daily basis with those we now call our faerie family. They refer to us as Merlin and Lili (short for Ealilithea)<\/em>, the names by which they knew us long ago<\/a>.<\/p>\n Based on\u00a0the faeries’ teachings on Celtic spirituality, we formed a Celtic Christian home church called Avalon Grove<\/a>, which formerly met eight times a year to honor the Celtic holidays.\u00a0\u00a0We also authored two books<\/a> on the fair folk, Gnomes in the Garden<\/em>\u00a0and The Celtic Owl<\/em>.\u00a0 David sometimes posts about faeries on his Blog<\/a>\u00a0and Twitter<\/a> pages and is working on a new book.<\/p>\n So there you have the short version of\u00a0how we came to personally know and love faeries. It has been an interesting journey, and it’s not over yet.
